Sight (Eyes), Feel/Touch (Hands/Skin), Hear/Listen (Ears), Taste (Mouth/Tongue), Smell (Nose)

 

Teach / Discuss the following pictures and words:

 

Dolls

Donuts

Fruits and Ice Cream

Girls

Pencils

I can SMELL, SEE/SIGHT, TASTE, FEEL/TOUCH, HEAR/LISTEN …

Use the above words in complete sentence consisting of the sense.

 

Note:

We use our EYES to SEE.

We use our NOSE to SMELL.

We use our HANDS/SKIN to FEEL/TOUCH.

We use our MOUTH/TONGUE to TASTE.

We use our EARS to LISTEN/HEAR.

 

The above are just some examples that can be used for discussion(s).

 

Explain:

                Eyes, Ears, Nose, Mouth/Tongue and Hands/Skin are body parts.

                Smell, Sight, Touch, Sound, Taste are senses.

                                Students should know the difference between body parts and senses.
