Explain:
Flat is the name used in U.K. (England)
Apartment is the name used in America (Students should already be aware of this).
Post Office – China Post is a Post Office.
Collect is to take, gather or get something.
Address is the place (location) where I live and or work.
Parcel is a box or package, and not a letter.
Note: Ask the students what they can see on page 54, and discuss in complete sentences.
Activity:
Draw an envelope / postcard on the glass board and explain the different parts.
- Stamp = currency for the Post Office
- To: is the person you are sending the letter or parcel/package.
- From: is the person who is sending the letter or parcel/package.
Note: Teacher may use the Label Santa Envelope and explain how to address and envelope.
