Activity: What can you see in the pictures – all answers should be acceptable

 

Son: son – [suhn] – /sʌn/ – Noun

A male child or person in relation to his parents.

Daughter: daugh·ter – [daw-ter] – /ˈdɔ tər/ – Noun

A female child or person in relation to her parents.

 

Discussion:

Ask if the students have the following:

  1. Do you have friends?
  2. How many friends do you have?
  3. Do you have short friends?
  4. Do you have tall friends?

 

 

 

 

Activity:

Have students come up to the front and compare who is a short friend and tall friend
